Please note that any claim made against the City of Cowansville for damages resulting from an accident, a fall, a sewer back-up, etc. must be addressed in writing to the City Clerk, within 15 days of the occurrence. Such notice must state that you hold the municipality responsible for any damages suffered and indicate your place of residence and the details of your claim.

In the event of personal damages, we would ask that you advise the city in writing with full details of the accident as soon as possible.
