Cowansville is at the very heart of a region where sports activities are part of the life style. The Sports, Leisure and Community Life Department offers a vast array of activities and events.

Cowansville’s major sports facilities play an important role in the training of young athletes. The City cooperates with sports associations as well as with the school board in its Sports/Studies programme to offer a programme that is worthy of a region rich in facilities.
